ServePremier Education Partners with GISA to Support Educator Development

ServePremier’s partnership with GISA connects educators at member schools with professional learning in STEAM, gifted education, and character-centered teaching.
ServePremier Education and GISA — professional learning partnership supporting educator growth

ServePremier Education’s professional learning partnership with the Georgia Independent School Association (GISA) connects educators at member schools with certificate programs in STEM/STEAM instruction, gifted education, and character and values-centered teaching.

The partnership reflects a shared focus on educator development and the everyday work of strengthening teaching and learning. For ServePremier, it is an opportunity to share professional learning developed and refined through practice at Fulton Science Academy Private School with a wider community of independent-school educators.

Connecting with Georgia’s independent-school community

GISA is a nonprofit association serving private, independent K–12 accredited schools across Georgia. Its activities include professional learning, leadership development, and opportunities for schools and educators to connect.

Working with GISA brings ServePremier’s certificate opportunities into a community of educators who understand the responsibilities and possibilities of independent education. Schools have distinct missions, learners, and priorities; useful professional learning helps teachers consider how new ideas can serve their own classrooms and communities.

Three areas of professional growth

The partnership includes three complementary certificate pathways:

  • STEM/STEAM Instructional Excellence: Designing inquiry-driven learning, connecting disciplines through authentic problems, and strengthening approaches to assessment and application.
  • Excellence in Gifted Education: Recognizing advanced learning potential, creating appropriate challenge, and supporting the academic and social-emotional needs of advanced learners.
  • Character and Values-Centered Teaching: Bringing character into daily teaching, relationships, and school culture through practical strategies and intentional implementation.

These areas reinforce one another. Thoughtfully designed inquiry can invite curiosity and perseverance; appropriate challenge can help learners develop confidence and independence; caring relationships can support both academic engagement and belonging.

Rooted in school practice

ServePremier Education is a nonprofit subsidiary wholly owned by Fulton Science Academy Private School. Its work in school management, educational consulting, and professional learning draws on the school’s educational experience while responding to the context of each school community.

The certificate programs bring that practical foundation to educator development. Their purpose is to help participants connect educational ideas with decisions about instruction, learner support, relationships, and school culture. The program pages explain each pathway’s content, instructor, format, and participation requirements.

The GISA partnership is an important part of ServePremier’s commitment to working alongside educators and schools. By sharing practice and supporting professional growth, ServePremier seeks to contribute to learning experiences that are challenging, purposeful, and responsive to students.
