What Past Participants are Saying

This STEAM certification course was a transformative experience for me as a World Language teacher. It helped me clearly understand how STEAM principles can be authentically integrated into language instruction. One of the most enriching aspects was learning alongside educators from different content areas and seeing how they apply STEAM in their classrooms. The course schedule, the flexibility of online participation, and the structured distribution of coursework aligns very well with my professional teaching responsibilities.

Lourdes Gonzalez

High School Spanish Teacher

The STEAM course has been a valuable and empowering experience for me as both an educator and coach. It challenged me to think more intentionally about innovation, collaboration, and real-world application in my teaching practice. The course strengthened my ability to integrate creativity, problem-solving, and technology into lessons while keeping student engagement and growth at the center. What I appreciated most was how practical and relevant the content was. I was able to immediately apply what I learned to my classroom, athletic programs, and leadership roles.

Nikki Johnson

Assistant Athletic Director/Physical Education Teacher

The STEAM course was exactly what I needed. I was already using STEAM ideas in my classroom, but I didn’t have a clear guide to follow. This course gave me structure and practical strategies that I could use right away with my students. It helped me feel more confident and focused in my STEAM teaching.

Dina Elsaey

Middle School Creative Problem Solving Teacher

The STEAM course was engaging and practical. It strengthened my confidence in integrating hands-on, real-world problem solving into my classroom while collaborating with colleagues. Learning about how other teachers approach STEAM education helped me create new ideas and strategies to use with my own students.

Mariana Mejia

Middle School Spanish Teacher

The STEAM course was a highly valuable professional learning experience with a strong emphasis on authentic interdisciplinary integration. It supported intentional connections between science content, engineering design, data analysis, creativity, and student agency in standards-aligned, classroom-ready ways. Through practical frameworks and design-thinking cycles, I was able to redesign lessons to be more inquiry-driven and relevant to real-world problems. Overall, the course had a direct and positive impact on my instructional practice.

Dr. Duran Kala

This certificate program is engaging, well-structured, and truly impactful. The course helped strengthen critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills while keeping learning exciting and relevant. It has made a noticeable difference in my confidence and understanding as a science teacher. The instructor was very well organized and provided clear, effective instruction throughout the course. I highly recommend this course for educators looking to integrate STEAM into their classrooms.

Senay Ceylan

Middle School Science Teacher

As a social studies teacher, being enrolled in this program changed how I approach teaching history. I now focus more on inquiry, problem-solving, and hands-on learning so students actively engage with historical content rather than just memorizing facts.
